Is there any way to increase Horsepower/Acceleration on a bmw m5 e60 ?

So i know that the bmw m5 has the "M" button which basically transforms it into a tiger but is there still any other way to increase hp? (I only have 6 grand to spend)

Well the best hp for money for an E60 M5 is the RPi RAM air kit. Check out http://www.raceprecision.com. The mod costs about $300 and gives about a 10-15 whp (so at the wheels, not at the crank). Other mods you could look at are exhaust mods and ecu tunes.

For an exhaust mod I would once again recommend RPi with the RPi GT exhaust set up. Costs about $3000 and is good for a 10-15 whp gain.

I would strongly recommend visiting http://www.m5board.com for more information concerning mods because there is a wealth of information there, including dyno charts to show hp gains.

They have some pretty nice options for the E60m, most that will fit in the budget you have, and also keeps your factory warranty. And if you had the money, the larger displacement S85 is an awesome upgrade too.
