How much would a 2001 BMW E39 M5 cost in New Zealand?

I’m considering exporting my M5 from London to New Zealand when I return home their next year but I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth doing or if I should just buy another one once I arrive.

    Well, I live in Australia and the average price of a 2001 e39 is between $25 000AU to $30 000AU – anymore than 30 grand and you’re being ripped off.

    Does it have to be a genuine M5? You could always just buy a 530i with an M5 bodykit – the simpletons will never know the difference.

    But if you did want to buy a genuine M5, you’re looking at anywhere between $45 000AU to $60 000; depending on its current state…..
