CTS: The best car in the world?
That’s right! It’s a mid-size sedan the size of a 5 Series, yet only has a price that is even lower than the 3 Series. Plus it looks simply better than the 5 Series. It has more legroom in the rear. The interior is simply fantastic. And you have the CTS-V which beats M5 in terms of horsepower. Not the mention the sexy new CTS Coupe. And GM makes this car under heavy UAW cost structure at least until 2010. I can’t help
but think BMW is a ripoff. And the strong euro makes it worse.
And I think the next step is for GM to create a compelling STS that can stand toe-to-toe with S Class.
i would like to know your opinions about the CTS and the STS.

Its a nice car, but its no Porsche
My hat’s off to GM for making it available with a manual transmission. That’s important, if you want to actually compete in this class, rather than get made fun of. Hopefully they’ll remember that.
I haven’t driven the new CTS, but it sure looks great.
I agree. The CTS is very nice. I have driven the 5 series many times. I hate that car. It is uncomfortable to drie. The ergonomics are wrong. It also failed the crash test safety ratings.
I am not a fan of American cars, but the CTS is a car that I like. They are making a Coupe CTS too in 2009. It will compete with the Audi S5, BMW 335i, and Infiniti G37.
I still like the G37 and Audi S5 more than the Cadillac, but the Caddy is really close.
